On Wednesday April 3rd, Chris Bosh celebrated his 29th birthday at Briza on the Bay with members and coaches of the 2012 NBA Champions, the Miami HEAT. Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne arrived by helicopter then boat to the red carpet. To celebrate, guests shopped the Moroccan Bazaar where they sipped on signature “CB Rémy VIP” cocktails featuring Rémy Martin V.
Aygemang Clay of WWW.TOPOFTHELINE.TV hit the red carpet to get an exclusive interview to find out just where Bosh got the idea for the Moroccan themed party and his foundation Team Tomorrow.
"Last year we went on vacation to Paris and I met some really cool people from Morraco, and we just came up with the idea and it worked."
Bosh's party featured an array of entertainment that included belly dancers, fire breathers, hookahs, henna art and live camels.
Bosh also talked about his foundation Team Tomorrow and his wife Adrienne's contribution during Easter.
"We just really wanted to surprise the kids with Easter egg baskets. I remember how much fun I had as a kid. My lovely wife and her friends did a great job and we wanted to go down there and put some smiles on their faces."
Special guests included LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, Chris Andersen, Joel Anthony, Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Udonis Haslem, James Jones, Rashard Lewis, Mike Miller, Juwan Howard, Jarvis Varnado; Larsa Pippen and Jonathan Cheban.
After shopping, guests entered Briza on the Bay and were greeted by Henri the Camel (pronounced On’Ree) along with his friend Jacob. DJ Affect did his thing on the ones and twos and a Mediterranean dinner of mini falafels, lamb kebob, Moroccan salad, hummus and tahini grilled salmon and steak kebobs awaited them. Comedian Marvin Dixon welcomed the party and served as host of the evening. Comedian Kool Bubba Ice was next to take the stage followed by comedian Gary Owens and DeRay Davis. Maryel Epps took the stage to sing Happy Birthday followed by birthday cake by Divine Delicacies. The biggest surprise of the night was when Kendrick Lamar took the stage and preformed.
However, what's an awesome party without a swagtastic goodie bag? Guest left with a gift bag of goodies that included Agadir Argan Oil (hair products); Perry Ellis (cologne); Flud Watches; "Incase" Iphone/Headphones; Tommy Hillfiger (cologne) ; Mario Badescu (travel products ) ; Bebe- for ladies clutches & Scarves; Yosi Samra- for ladies- slippers; Neff Headwear; Trapp / Evoque Candles; Countess Mara Bowties; Stash - Morrocan Mint Tea; Hookah Portable; Nike (bag) ; Tom's (glasses); Mixed Chicks (hair products)
"I'm more of a classic style kind of guy. I like suits. I like to be tailored and tapered", added Bosh. If Top of The Line style is good enough for Chris Bosh and the world champion Miami Heat, then it is good enough for www.topoftheline.tv
