Black Apple is a collective of designers, artists and musicians who ride the restless energy of New York City to the last stop, forging into familiar territories with a new overachiever spirit. Created by the makers of Public School, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne launched the young men’s brand in Fall/Winter 2010. Black Apple's goal is to toughen the weak and make ugly handsome through its collection of imperfect outerwear, knits, shirts, bottoms and tees. Every season is made possible by the constant inspiration provided by friends and peers. So long as there is music to play Black Apple will continue to design and help prove right wrong. So if you ever thought fashion should fall asleep and wake up in the same wrinkled clothes then Black Apple has done its job.
